- Bald Top Road Closed – As of 6:00pm today, May 31, 2019, Bald Top Road will be closed in both directions to all traffic, from Route 11 to Timberwood Drive until further notice, based on recommendation of the township engineer, due to weather related damage. Engineers will be conducting surveys and studies of the roadway to determine the proper manner of permanent repairs. More information will follow as it is available. Safety is our primary concern and we appreciate your patience and cooperation. Recommended detour is Route 54 to PA Route 642 to Klein Road. (May 31, 2019)

- This is an important message from SUEZ. In accordance with best practices to maintain water quality, we will be flushing fire hydrants in Mahoning Township on Tuesday, September 8 and Wednesday, September 9. As a result, you may notice a temporary drop in water pressure or may experience discolored water. You may prefer to wait until the water runs clear before drinking or washing clothes or dishes.
