Mahoning Township Fire Department Firefighters will be participating in a live fire training exercise involving the controlled burn of a residential structure at 82 Welsh Road.  This training is designed to provide realistic, hands-on experience in fire behavior, suppression tactics and ventilation.  All activities will be conducted under the supervision of certified instructors following strict safety protocols and environmental guidelines.  The purpose of this exercise is to enhance operational readiness, improve teamwork and ensure our firefighters are fully prepared to respond effectively to real-life emergencies.

Please note:  Welsh Road will be closed from the hydrant past 82 Welsh Road, and the controlled burn should last approximately 8 hours.
